Why is it so much cheaper than everyone else?
Per subscriber pricing was always a packaging choice, not a cost. We charge for what you send, in flat bands, and the free tier covers most businesses. Even our paid rate is well under raw infrastructure like Amazon SES.
How is this different from Ghost?
Ghost rents its email and prices per member and per seat. We own the deliverability, price in flat send based bands (free for most, then $10 a month), and there's nothing to self host. Ghost is built for paid publications. We're built to get your marketing, and your transactional email, into the inbox.
Can I send my product's transactional email here too?
Yes, over the same API. Receipts, password resets, and alerts go out on the same engine and the same sending reputation as your newsletter, from a catalog of ready templates you can brand with your own colors. Transactional mail is not marketing, so it does not run through the subscribe flow. It is one vendor and one integration instead of two.
